Jak v přízemí vznikala současná kavárna
V přízemí věže bývala dlouhá léta, od r. 1802 nejdříve šenkovna, později velmi oblíbená a navštěvovaná restaurace. Později byla místnost poničena vandaly i počasím, byl odcizen i malovaný a vyřezávaný trámový strop, zůstaly jen poničené zdi, jak se můžete přesvědčit ve fotogalerii.
Protože je potřeba zajistit pro návštěvníky občerstvení, je přízemí první místnost, která se začíná opravovat, a tak dne 10.6.2009 začaly opravy odstraňováním staré omítky.
Potom se postupně opravily poničené zdi, byla nahrubo nahozena klenba, rozvedeny elektrické kabely k budoucím zásuvkám a osvětlení.V několika vrstvách byla nahozena omítka, bohužel při tom nebyla zakryta okna, jejichž následné umytí a doslova oškrábání cementu nám dalo hodně práce.Nejsložitější bylo nahození klenby, ale nakonec se i tato práce dokončila.Místnost byla vymalována, spousta cementu byla potřeba na podlahu.V září už bylo možno v místnosti si posedět, i když práce zdaleka nekončily.Později byly vysekány rozvody pro trubky k radiátorům pod okna, aby návštěvníkům bylo tepleji.
Krbová kamna vyhřívají místnost,kde si návštěvníci mohou posedět, další úpravy se nyní dělají ve vedlejší místnosti přístavku, kde bude další bar s pecí na pravou italskou Pizzu. Pracuje se núpravách zázemí pro personál budoucí restaurace,která bude mít po skončení oprav dvě místnosti pro návštěvníky,kuchyň restaurace bude v prvním patře přístavku.
